Terms and Conditions

The Tourism Sustainability Commitment (TSC) is a programme owned by Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) to drive improvements in business practices and support the achievement of a truly sustainable tourism industry. 

New Zealand tourism businesses and organisations apply to TIA to join the TSC, with no limiting criteria to participation. It is in TIA’s interest to encourage wide uptake of the TSC across the industry. 

To remain active participants, signatories must complete the Annual Declaration sent out each year in September/October. 

Where TIA observes that businesses are not adhering to the spirit and intent of the TSC, it reserves the right to limit their ability to participate in the programme and to use any related materials, including the TSC logo.
